As per our design standard, the design of the G+6 Building is within the tolerab
le limit of steel ratio. Please note that our company has certain factor of safe
ty in addition to the standard practice as per ACI 318-04 and no structural inte
grity issue for adding certain factors.Also, some additional bars, have been add
ed to compensate for long term deflection of long unsupported length of slab.
Though, for economic reason, you may opt for a value-engineered design where loa
d reductions may be adapted during the design process at the new designer's laib
ility.
