I am Brayden Griffin and though I like how you are running our
school, I have a few suggestions that could make it even better. Our school
needs to put more emphasis in the Robotics team, our Robotics team 1114
Simbotics, has made it to the World Championship every year in their
existence, and I think we need to let people know that.
So our schools Robotics team has made it to worlds every year since
they started in 2003, they almost always make it to the finals and they even
won the World Championship in 2008, in 2012 they entered the FIRST Hall
of Fame, for winning the Chairmans Award; the highest honour you can get
as a Robotics Team. However the amount of people in the school who know
about our team, or even care, if dwarfed by the amount of people who care
about less important teams, who dont even make it past regional
competitions, even though learning about Robotics is a WAY more useful life
skill then being able to throw a ball or be a cheerleader.
These reasons are all why we need to have more people become
interested in our schools robotics team and less in things like sports, art and
other activities that arent as useful, successful or well known by other
teams of their type. This is why I believe we need to have more focus on our
Robotics team at our school.
