Recovery Guide for Tab 7, ACR-VT97100

This recovery guide contains the procedures to recover your Tab 7 device. You will need the following items:

PC computer running Windows environment

Micro USB cable
LiveSuit program (Recovery Tool)
Tab7 Installation file in .img file extension.

Create a folder Tab7 without quotes on your Desktop.

Copy Tab7_Version1.1.6.img file to the Tab7 folder on your Desktop.
Unzip and extract the contents from Recovery_Tool_Tab7.zip to Tab7 folder on your Desktop.
Double click the .exe program to install and it will unpack by itself.
Locate LiveSuit.exe within the same folder and launch it by double-clicking it.
Select Yes on the first dialog User wizard message.
Select Format > Select Yes to select the image file to install
Select Tab7_Version1.1.6.img as the image file to install and select Open.
Switch off your Tab7 by press and hold onto the power button for 15 seconds. This will force turn off your
Tab7 device.
j) Press and hold onto Vol + button of your Tab7 device. Do not release the Vol+ button
k) Insert the Micro USB cable connecting from your PC to the Micro USB port of the Tab7 device.
l) Press Power button for 5 times.
m) You will see Pop up dialog Does mandatory format, Select Yes for both message. You can release the Vol
+ button at this stage.
n) You will see the installation process on the program interface. Wait for the installation to complete and you
can disconnect the USB cable and you can power on the device as per normal.
Please note that it is common that the device will have slow response on the first boot up after firmware installation.
This is due to the installation of the application files. Please be patient and wait for the system to normalize and
stabilize.
