FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

ON
UNDERSTANDING LEARNING THEORIES AND
LEARNING STYLE
A Faculty development Programme (FDP) has been conducted on 9.6.14 at IPSAR
Campus I. The resource person of the FDP was Prof. (Dr) Snigdha Pattnaik from Xavier
Institute of management, Bhubaneswar. She delivered a splendid talk on learning
theories and leaning style and its application in the process of learning. She also gave
tips to trainers on conducting a successful learning programme. She also highlighted on
the concept as to how learning brings a change in the personality of a person and how
to create a conducive learning environment.
Faculties of IPSAR and faculties of various other Management Institutes, Colleges and
Deemed Universities were present in the program. The Dean of IPASAR Prof. Ashok
Kumar Mishra introduced the resource person while Mrs Kavitha Krishna Acharya ,
Asst. Prof IPSAR proposed Vote of Thanks. Certificates were distributed to the
participants.
