    Medatrix – Configuring new Medatrix.

    Note: - All the below steps can be done when the Mediatrix is up and IP reachable
    from the network.

    • Run Mib Viewer Script.


    • Build the Mib Set first and then browser and open the script File (Chose the
    correct file between (2,4,16 and 24 ports), for example the MTX is 24 ports so
    open (Nortel_P_no_echo24PortMediatrix.txt) before running the script you
    need to make sure the following in red circles is pointing to the correct IP
    address of the Mediatrix that you are activating and add the call agent of
    Raven
    • Run the script step by step.

    • Then go To Unit Manager and search for the ip address of the MTX, then
    right click on MGCP as showing in below picture.
    • Change the Static FQDN to the same Hostname of the Gateway that you have
    configured. And also the mode to Static.
    • Reboot the MTX. This should allow Nortel to register this box and ip address
    will appear in LMM
