MODAL VERBS

Characteristics:
1. They dont take to in the infinitive, i.e., they have no infinitive.
2. They dont take s in the third person singular of the present tense.
3. They dont require any other auxiliaries to for the negative or interrogative forms.
4. They do not have all the tenses; therefore you must use verb equivalents to complete their
conjugation.
