An appropriate amount of macronutrients is necessary for one to be able to live a
healthy lifestyle; because of the macronutrient unit, I now have a deeper understanding of food
which can help me improve my wellness. Learning science which can directly impact my well
being has perpetuated the fact science has a extreme amount of practical use. It convinced me
even more of how important science is to us and the quality of life.
Radioactivity and fission is science which was used to change the world. On the other
spectrum of science there is radioactivity and fission. This type of science is on the extreme side
of the spectrum. It isnt really practical but it is powerful. If one has a deep understanding of this
science and knows how to apply it and be successful then that person has a war like power.
Considering the fact only 8-9 countries in the world have nuclear weapons it shows how
exclusive that power is. I learned that science isnt always used to benefit humanity; determining
how beneficial nuclear science is blurry because of how detrimental is can be as well.
The ester synthesis unit showed me how intricate science can be. Learning scientific
principles gave me an insight of how it would be like to be professional scientist. I was able to
see how difficult science gets and how much attention to detail we have to give in order for a
conclusion to be correct.
