THE STUDY ON THE ANALYSIS OF CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND

RETENTION IN ABB

1. OBJECTIVE

To identify and analyze the perception of employees on the change management activities
To study the factors for employee retention in the company
To identify the major factor contributing change management
To identify the relationship between the respondents with dimensions such as loyalty to
the organization, burnout factors, work satisfaction, career development and perception of

management on retention.
To identify the relationship of the employees with the top management.
To suggest various activities in change management, to retain employee

2. SCOPE OF THE STUDY


The study will deliver various factors about the perception and acceptance of employees on
the changes in the company like in policies, tools they work with, team change, etc., also will
deliver about the factors that make the employees to retain in the company like salary, working
culture, etc,.
These information that will be delivered, in turn will help the Company to rate the perception
and expectation of the employee about the company activities, and also the top management to
decide on the right change and right action at the right time which helps the company to achieve
their target.
3. LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
The limitations of this project are that:

Due to the time constraints, only specific sample size from the entire segment has
been considered for the study.

The information was collected from one location Chennai, where majority of the
respondents where mainly from Chennai and other districts of Tamil Nadu. This is
restrictive to a particular demography and not the whole of the company.
