ABSTRACT

This is the study for the Reservation and Billing System for Seafarers Inn located at
SitioPanubigon, Barangay Lipata,Surigao City. The group conducted interview with Mr. Alberto
B. Edillor, Jr., current manager of the inn for us to be allowed to conduct the study. The proposed
system has a user-friendly environment and has all the transactions of the business under study
like the reservation, billing, monitoring and maintenance. The system will make the employees
job easier and faster with error-free transactions for the good of the business. The proponents
made use the descriptive research design which involves the question and answer, observation of
business transactions in order to know where to start the study. In the personal interview with the
manager, the proponents identified the main problem. He said that their business uses a manual
process. The proponents will develop a computerized system containing the entirely of the
business transaction.

PREFACE
As of this modern time more innovations come to life especially on computers not only
its hardware but also its software. People mostly depend on computers for transactions in
businesses.
Almost all business transactions are made possible by computers particularly the
transactions in hotels. In order to be competitive, hotels are now using programmed systems in
which the whole business transactions are done. With this, the proponents agreed to develop a
Reservation and Billing System for Seafarers Inn in order to help in a technological way. This
would make a different approach for the system developers. The proposed system is
computerized, fast, error-free and efficient.
