Introduction

This paper aims to show how Russian, British and American newspapers portray the tensions
between Russian president Vladimir Putin and LGBTQ community regarding Putins law against
gay propaganda in Russia. The attention will be on to the construction of social
identities and representation of social actors within different media sources together
with their relation within a specific discursive practice
