Procedures
Introduction: volume song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JijhDDJvExo
Students are to watch the Khan Academy videos on volume and take notes while they
learn at home.
Teachers are to provide aid for learning in the classroom. Teacher will hold a group
discussion in class making notes and pointing out what is most important about learning
volume based on students notes from home. Then, teacher will present multiple
different activities to have students practice what theyve learned.
Differentiation
In class activities can differentiate in different skill levels. Students can move up too
more challenging activities if they understand the content or move back to more simple
activities.

Closure
Teacher will have students come together at the end of the lesson and help make a
classroom poster about how to find out the volume of different objects. Teacher can
make photo copies and have students keep one copy in their notes at school and have
another copy to keep at home for homework refrence.

Explanation/ Reflection
I chose the website Khan Academy because it most clearly teaches the basics of volume.
It starts very basic and then as the videos go on, it adds more and more content at a
reasonable pace. Because this is a website, students are able to access it anywhere and
on any type of technology that has the internet. It is not specific to only apple products
or droid products; it can be accessed by anyone. I chose the volume song because it
explains what volume is and how to find it. The song is catchy and fun, and will help kids
remember the content if they can sing the song through.
