Crafts:
Cat in the Hat hat

Large paper bags

Bingo markers
Stickers
Ribbons
Tape
Markers

Roll up the opening of the bag so as to form a brim. Decorate with the remaining materials.

Oobleck:

2 c Cornstarch
1 c Water
Green food coloring

Add the green food coloring to the water. Cover the bottom of a container with cornstarch. Pour the green water
over the cornstarch, barely covering it. Feel how it turns from a solid to a liquid with the heat of your hands.

Plastic Egg Painting:

Large white construction paper

Blue paint
Yellow paint
Plastic Easter eggs (Some open, some closed)

Squirt yellow paint on one paper plate and blue paint on another paper plate. Have the children dip the eggs in
both paints and roll and stamp them on the white paper to show how blue and yellow make green, like the color
of the eggs in Green Eggs and Ham.
