Recently, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) wrapped up its 109th National Conference, which took place May 13-15, 2015, in Chicago. The three-day event celebrated the theme Magnificent Milestones and featured a variety of sessions exploring data, teen recruitment, and club safety, among other topics. The conference also included the 25th annual Alumni Hall of Fame program and the first-ever Teen Advocacy Day, which brought together teens and thought leaders from various sectors of society for a discussion on 21st-century
leadership skills, college access, and BGCA programming.
These and other themes were also explored by several of the conferences featured speakers, including Jim Collins, a BGCA alum and the author of the best-selling book Good to Great.
