1. What gave you the idea to go into the industry in the first place ?
2. How long was the first production that you did ?

Question 1 - What gave you the idea to go into the industry in the first place ?
Answer - I came into this Job by accident really. I used to work at a holiday
camp with horses and it all closed up. The Heidi Hi Team used to come and use
the set , they needed some caterers and so thats is how i came about that
Question 2 - How long was the first production that you did ?
Answer- The First Production i did was obviously Heidi Hi and that went on for
about 5-6 weeks

Question 3 - Is it very long hours ? Where you generally the first to start up and
the last to Finnish?
Answer - Us Amongst others yes , we where the first to start up , aswell as the
electricians and the Props . And the Last to Finnish.
Question 4 - On your travels with the film set , did you meet any exciting people
along the way ?
Answer- I did ! the most exciting people i got to meet along the way where ,
Robert Michem for one , and he was lovely . Glenda Jackson was another one ,
LuLu , And Kylie Menoque who was really sweet.
Question 5- On the film set , what was the most interesting and exciting thing
you had the opportunity to watch.
Answer - The Most exciting thing i have seen , was when we where parked in a
quarry in dorset . The Program was called 5 children and it and every day i went
down there to watch the filming you would just see these little heads pop up in
the quarry and it was quite funny to watch
Question 6 - When you first started , was it your own catering company or a
franchise of another company?
Answer- Not it was not my own company at the start , It belonged to a man
called brain truman , who was a director but also owned the catering company so
it made it quit easy to get the work
Question 7 - Where you faced with any challenges within the Job ?
Answer Yes i can remember 2 challenges in particular that we where faced with
, One of them being in the isle of white , it was thick snow there and we had to
be there and it was very difficult driving the trucks over there . The other one
was parking at Jeremy Beadles house. I honestly thought we where on camera
for a practical joke or something because it was so difficult to park .
Question 8 - Tell me about your favourite people you have met on the film set ?
Answer - My favourite been the people i mentioned before , Robert Michem ,
Glenda Jackson , LuLu , Kylie menace and Jason Donavan , and Donny Osmend
swell.
Question 9- Can you name some of the productions that you have been part of ?
Answer Yes i have done the Location Catering for Eastenders , Coronation street
, Miss Marple , We have been on sense and sensibility , Phantom of the opera
,summer time special , London Palladium and loads more.
Question 10- Who where the worst people to work with on set ?

Answer - The worst people to work with on set where the runners , They did not
listen to instructions properly and that can spoil the whole day on set from
Question 11 - Overall did you enjoy your time working as a location caterer on
the film set ?
