INTRODUCTION
Solid Waste Management is an obligatory function
of municipal corporations, municipalities and other
local bodies in India. Due to increase in population,
urbanization, change in life style and consumption
pattern the problem of solid waste management in
urban areas is increasing.

OBJECTIVE
The main goal is to describe the application and
progress of the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle initiative and
its gradual implementation and development in solid
waste management in Nashik(MH) India through the
study of the municipal solid waste management
(MSWM) systems.
Implementation of a Waste to Energy project
through production of biogas.
