So how do we know that what is happening is fair or unfair?

Is it written in the
laws of society? Is it written in the books of religion? Is there any reference that
tells us what is right and what is wrong? Are the rules that are written on which
society is based on or on which religion stands on, are those fair? Who decided
they were fair in the first place?

The question then begs to be answered. What is fair and consequently what is not
fair?
