The study aims to determine the


impact of teenage pregnancy on
parents health. The findings
will serve as basis for proposed
nursing intervention scheme.

Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following


inquiries:
What is the demography of the respondent in

terms of:

Age of Pregnancy;
Age of Parent;
Marital Status of Parents; and
Personality of the Parents?

What is the impact of teenage pregnancy to

parents health in the following aspects?


Social;
Psycho-emotional; and
Spiritual

Is there a significant relationship

between teenage pregnancy and its


impact on parents health?
What nursing intervention scheme

can be formulated based on the


findings?

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

descriptive-corelational
study utilizing
QUANTITATIVE APPROACH

Research Locale/Environment

conducted at

Barangay Quiot ,Cebu City

Research Subjects
10% of the 200 total population of parents aging

40-70 years old with teenage daughters


who got pregnant for the following 3 consecutive

years; 2010 ,2011,and 2012 respectively


respondents should be residing at Barangay

Quiot for at least 5 years


either be single, married, separated or widow
