Hotspurs First Responders Nights w/ BackTracks Health Centre

BackTracks Health Centre is pleased to join with the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club to support a Summer
First Responders Night with BackTracks Health Centre.
What is summer First Responders Night?
Once a month over the summer, the Hotspur Soccer Club bring its OPDL Medical Director, Dr. Lino
Panetta to highlight the sideline evaluation and management of common soccer injuries. These evening
provide the Nepean Hotspurs Volunteer First Responders with an opportunity to come together and
review basic protocols for injury prevention, sideline evaluation and on field management.
Who can attend the First Responders Night?
These evening sessions are open to volunteer First Responders for all Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club but
also Teams Coaches and Team Managers who may also serve as First Responders.
What is the cost and how do I register for the First Responder Nights?
The program is sponsored by the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club. There is no cost to attend, but you must
register ahead of time, with BackTracks Health Centre 613-596-0646.
Where is it held?
The First Responders Night will be held at the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer Club office on Colonnade and
start at 7:30pm
What are the topics?

The evening will include a 30 minutes talk & demo on sideline management of common soccer
injuries, and features an opportunity for Questions and Answers on the following topics:

July 9: Concussion Night Q & A (How to use the FIFA CRT card-see
included)
August 20: Knee Night Q & A (FIFA 11+ Knee prevention program)
