Chapter 3 Planning Attacks


After reading, highlighting, and making notes in your book, review the following
questions and come to class ready to discuss:
1 Why are impartial decisions important? When is it easy to be impartial? When
is it hard?
2 What are the keeping pros & cons? How does this apply to your sibling
interaction?
3 Check out Ecclesiastes 9:17-18. The quiet words of the wise are more to be
heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools. Wisdom is better than weapons of war,
but one sinner destroys much good. Is it human nature not to recognize the good?
4 Why is it so difficult to address conflicts early when has so often been proven
successful? What does your sin nature rather influence you to do?
5 What is a problem or challenge you need to resolve in your life? How can these
suggestions help?
6 Why is it hard to pursue the best solution?
7 What do you think of the logic of succession? How is it different than the
Western idea of the divine right of kings?
8 Think of a time in your recent past when you chose the maximize vs. minimize
destruction? Is there always a way?
9 Do you find it easy or difficult to show kindness in a position in which you have
clear superiority?
10 Why does an underdog story have such appeal?
11 What responsibility do you have now that is larger than yourself? What do you
anticipate in 5 years? 10 years?
12 That the general pledges loyalty to the ruler doesnt mean he must always
obey the ruler thoughts?
13 When is an occasion when youve been your own worst enemy?
14-18 What are the five factors? Which is most important? Which is easiest to
execute? Hardest?
19 Why would this be the most quoted part by the media?
