Thing 3: Visual Learning

Word Cloud
I will use a Word Cloud to use for a project with my class using this one of the 108
ways to use word clouds: Gather class, individual, or group input to come up with
descriptive words to describe a painting, sculpture, work of art or song. Have a
word cloud made of these descriptive words.
Here is my example of a word cloud I might use in class. I used Tagxedo to create
one about Special Education in the music classroom. I think this is a cool idea to
use at the beginning of class to introduce the subject for the day, like jazz or and
new concept in a theory class.

Mind Mapping
I created a Mind Map for music math using Popplet. I designed a lesson to learn
about how to count down from a whole note. I would use this for more than just
note counting, it would be a great way to share more information during classes.

QR Code
Here is a QR code to the Alma College Website.
I put my QR Code on my website under my
Classroom Information section. Here is the

Infographic
Here is my simple inforgraphic that I might use to inform students about how
music is integrated with so many other subjects. I like how I can use templates and
recreate them for my own purposes.
