Abstract:
Three-dimensional ordered macroporous (3DOM) materials which are fabricated via colloidal crystal
templates have become the focus of studies because of its outstanding and promising applications in
various devices. In this thesis, my research is focused on the colloidal crystal templates (CCTs)
method to prepare three-dimensional ordered macroporous (3DOM) structural organic semiconductor
molecular, including fullerene and rubrene. The main contents are as follows:1. Monodisperse silica
microspheres are synthesized following modified Stober method via adjustment the temperature
controlled silica microsphere diameters. The growth of colloidal crystal template from silica
microspheres in ethanol is carried out at 34using vertical self-assembly method, and measured the
sample morphology, diameter and optical properties by SEM and reflection spectrum.2. Threedimensional ordered macroporous (3DOM) nanostructures fullerene (C60) with high crystalline have
been prepared successfully via CCTs method with surface-wetting technique. The obtained 3DOM
structure of C60 and fabrication of process is demonstrated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Further crystal structure of the obtained 3 DOM
structure of C60 is investigated based on the X-ray diffraction (XRD) and selected area electron
diffraction (SAED) analysis.3.3DOM structural Rubrene was fabricated via a silica colloidal crystal
template and surface-wetting technique. Moreover, the photonic band gap of the rubrene inverse opal
was successfully measured, which corresponds with the theoretical calculations. This method provides
a platform for further fabrication of inverse opal structure with other organic semiconductor materials.
Furthermore, the unique structural features of three-dimensional ordered macroporous may find novel
optical and electrical properties.
