CONCLUSION
Spectrophotometers might have different geometry,
which can influence the color measurement results.
Moreover, the visual and instrumental color
assessment is affected by the texture of the samples.
In the present study, the effect of spectrophotometer
geometry on the color measurement of textile
samples including different kinds of texture, were
investigated. It was shown that there is an average of
1 unit of CIEDE2000 (1:1:1) color difference
between d/8 and 45/0 geometry, which can
sometimes reach to about 3 units. In addition this
difference is not statistically related to the type of
texture and color center of the samples. Moreover,
