3rd Floor XU Library

The 3rd floor of the Librarys new building houses most of the books
for General Reference and some books for General Circulation. These books
include titles from Literature, Fiction and Philosophy among others. The only
reason we said most is because this floor does not contain books that pertain
to Math and Science. This floor also contains some Encyclopaedias and
Almanacs, albeit outdated ones from 2008.
General reference includes computerized databases, indexes and
abstracts on CD ROM, foreign and Filipiniana information and reference
resources such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, directories, almanacs,
yearbooks, and serials of general interest. General Circulation is used to
refer to books that contain knowledge about certain subjects; ergo it is
usually the area that contains the most books from various subject matters
like Literature, English, Math, Science, etc.
