Weekly market view

Markets mainly consolidated last week in a specific range as they did not
find any major trigger to move in a particular direction ; weak quarterly
earnings of major companies last week hit the indices in negative way
further weak Asian cues and weak Chinese manufacturing data too negated
the sentiments on Friday to close the week on weak note. Nifty future is
facing strong resistance around the crucial resistance of 8700. On lower
side, any closing below 8490 may drag nifty towards 100 day EMA of 8410
on weekly charts. Key events to be focused in coming week are FOMC Meet
on global front while volatility is expected in indices due to July F&O Expiry.
