Colonizing other planets may be humanity's last hope for long-term survival, as climate change threatens life on Earth. The authors plan to research colonization by gathering information from the internet and books, surveying public opinion, and interviewing astronomers about Mars One. They will consider both the technical feasibility and ethical issues, such as what living conditions people find acceptable in space. The research aims to determine if colonizing other planets is possible and could enable adapting planet atmospheres to support human life.

-How to colonize planets-By Liam Stoldt and Luke van Gemert-
-Why Colonise Other Planets?
The first life forms on Earth were formed about 3.5 billion years ago. Since then, life has evolved to survive. After many key events in prehistory, life has changed from dinosaurs to birds, and from tiny microscopic life forms to massive insects. Humans have evolved and have become the most dominant species on Earth, but our advanced technology has caused our atmosphere to change. If we dont do something quick, the human species will end. Our last hope just may be the final frontier; Space. Considering this is possibly the most important factor in the survival of the human race, we thought that there would be lots of information to find about the topic, and many people involved in it.
-How will we Research Our Topic?
Most of our research will be done on the internet to find various pieces of information that we thread together. This is most useful method because it is easier to find a large amount of diverse information. We can also find information on particular areas we need by looking through books. To cover the ethical side of living on other planets we will send out a survey to ask how people would feel about living under the conditions in space. We will try to interview an astronomer from Adelaide University or Flinders University and also send an email asking questions about the Mars One project. http://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/profile.cfm?Object=Neptune c/art/Space-station-commission-215598153 Edited by Luke van Gemert
-Safety and Ethics Considerations?
When Researching our question, we are planning to interview professionals in the job, including an interview with the project leaders of Mars One, a project that plans to colonise Mars. We also want to ask people what they think about what they think about space travel, and how far they think we can get. Also, we would like to ask them if they would like to live in space, and what it would be like to live on a station inside gas planets. When we ask do these interviews, we must understand that we have to recognise these people.
-Analysing and Signifying our Results.
From our research we should be able to determine whether or not we will be able to colonise other planets in space. This research will be significant for the movement of the human race into outer space. With this research we will be able to theoretically change the atmospheres of planets so that we can breathe on the planets naturally. Also taking into consideration the weight that other planets will have on us.
