Johan Olsen Asborg,

Born: April 29th, 1835

Was the son of Ola Rotasen (Fordal) and Kirsti Halvorsdtr. Pynten and was a
newcomer at Mjolkhallen below Fossen. He lived later at Asbjorg, where he farmed
half of the land until 1877. He travelled to America in 1891.
Johan Olsen married Sigrid Amundsdtr. Beitlandsbjorg, December 7, 1855. She was
born July 15, 1827 and died September 27, 1875.

Johan Olsen Married Ingeborg Lassesdtr. May 2, 1878. She was born December 25
1826. She came with him to America in 1891 and they lived with both his sons,
Arndt and Ole.
In 1865 when Johan Olsen lived on Asborg place he had 2 cattle, 5 sheep, 5 goats, 1
1/4 tn. oats, 1 tn. potatoes. Tn. = Norwegian Measure
