ALUMINIUM ANODES
Aluminium anodes are suitable for marine applications only.
Due to the formation of passive oxide films in non-chloride environments, Aluminium is not
suitable as a sacrificial anode in fresh water locations.
Typical metallurgical composition in accordance with AS2239 are A1, A2, A5 and A6.
Alternately we offer US Milspec Mil -DTL-24779A(SH) compositions.
Shape and size of anodes can be individually designed. Typical dimensions are listed below

ZINC ANODES
Zinc anodes are suitable for marine as well as freshwater and low resistivity soil applications.
We recommend zinc anodes for earthing systems connected to pipelines.
Typical metallurgical composition in accordance with AS2239 are Z1 and Z2.
Alternately we offer US Milspec Mil-A-18001 K compositions.
