Last night, there was a spectacular cultural concert held in the Holy Trinity University St. Lorenzo Ruiz Gymnasium. During the concert, the performers sung songs originally made
here in the Philippines, they were sung very good, all notes were sung exactly as it should be,
their voices were so loud that if filled-up the gymnasium, after the musical concert, it was
followed by Filipino traditional dances, the dancers were so good, their steps were on time,
and all their costumes were colorfully made of Pi a cloth. The cultural program was indeed a
successful one.

Yesterday morning, five cultural minorities arrived in our school, they came from
different municipalities all over Palawan, during their visit, they shared their cultures to us, the
students, what is their job, what they usually eat and their clothing. According to them, they use
animal skins for their clothing and some of the plants that are there in their municipality. Their
visit was unforgettable.

Last week, Manny Pacman Pacquiao had a boxing fight with Floyd Mayweather at Las
Vegas, Nevada, it was known as the Fight of the Century because this was the fight that has
been awaited for a very long time. While I was watching the fight I can see how strong Pacman
punches his opponent, however, Pacman lost the match but, I feel very proud being a Filipino
just like Pacman because he fought fairly and did not cheat, it has been a rumor that there are
biases in Mayweathers victory, but still, I am proud of Pacman, and makes me feel more proud
of being a Filipino.

Maria Ana Bambi Harper is a very famous Filipino historian, she is well-known for his
dedication to preserve the history of the Philippines, she gave us a very detailed but simple
talk about our national heritage.
5.
Recently, there have been a lot of news about Filipino taxi drivers and policemen that
brings back money that they saw during their shift or during their work, they assure that what

they see will be brought back to the owner fully, they never intended to keep the money to their
selves, furthermore, the Filipinos tradition of being hospitable to their guests have been known
globally, and with this it is indeed that Filipinos have a cultural heritage to be proud of.
