CATIA V6R2013X Installation on

Client machine
1.

Go to run and type \\ nod where CATIA and JAVA set up is kept

2.

CATIA V6 folder is shared

3. Go to CATIA V6 > Click jre-7-winows-x64 and Install JAVA JRE -7

4. JAVA is installed

5. Go to \\nod\CATIA V6\1\V6forAcademia_Client\1 and click setupV6

6. Welcome message comes

Click Next
7.

CATIA V6R2013x will be installed in this folder and click Next

8.

Select All Configuration and Product & Click Next

9.

Select All and Click Next

10.

Click Next
11.

12. Java Path will be selected and Click Next

Click Next
13.

Click Next
14.

Click Install and installation will start

15.

16. Installation done and click Close

How to start CATIA V6

A. Disable Windows firewall or Add CATIA in Allow Program to
communicate through Windows Firewall

B. Copy folder Licenses from location \\nod\CATIAV6

Paste at location C:\ProgramData\DassaultSystemes and in this folder there

is file DSLicSrv.txt

1. Click on the CATIA V6 icon on Desktop

2. Click
on windows that comes Next . This is one time activity and need
to add the Database use to connect

Add
Connection Alias: CATIAV6 and click Next
Hostname: nod
Port: 8070

3. Click Finish

And then OK
Type User Name :

Password:

User Name : engg1 ; engg2 ; engg3 and so on

Password is same as User Name

4. Click Options and select the Security Context

5. After selecting click OK

6. And then Finish

7. Click OK and wait
