*I was teaching simple present tense. I made two columns, one was Singular (refer to the
subject) and the other one was plural. I conducted jumbled sentences. I made a template
for each words in the sentences, learners rearrange the words, glue the papers so that
the papers wont peeled off. Then, pupils paste the sentences in the correct column.

THE LITTLE RED HEN


The little red hen lives in a farm with her six little chicks. She loves to go for a walk in her
farm. Then, she finds some wheat grains. She takes the wheat back to her home. The little red
hen meets her friends, duck, bird, cat and dog. She asks her friends.
Little red hen :

Who will help me plant this wheat?

Then my six little


chicks and I will plant
the wheat.

After some time, the plant grows healthily. It has long stalks of wheat. The wheat is ripe and
ready to be harvested. The little red hen and her little chicks are very delight. She meets
her friends again.
