Students have been excessively printing out papers and using toner, depleting the computer lab supplies. To address this, starting next semester each student will receive an ID card with $10 credit to print. Prints will cost $0.50 each, and if the credit runs out students can recharge their card for $1. This new process aims to reduce waste by making students think before printing and charging for excess prints.

Las Cruces, NM 88005 July 14, 2015 APECHS faculty Members 3600 Arrowhead Dr, Las Cruces, NM 88011 Dear Faculty Members: There has been many complains about how the computer labs are running out of toner and paper. I have determined that a group of students are responsible for the lack of paper and toner. Starting next semester, we would begin to charge for each copy that is printed out. I have decided that each student would get an ID/Credit card with $10.00 and they could use it to print and when they are out of money they could re-charge it to keep printing but they would have to pay $1 for it. There would be a charge of .50 cents for each paper. Thank you for taking your time in reading this letter. I hope that plan works and those students think before they print anything. Sincerely, Mitzy Lugo Student Body President
