Forgiveness Poem

Forgiving is not always easy

It's much easier said than done
I'm only human you see
As dark memories came to my mind
But who am I?
Not to forgive, all those years
Talk, laughter and tears
If what we now know, we only knew than
I look back on today
As past events were just that, they passed and now gone
As I moved on, I forgive you now
As time is the only gift that forgiveness brings.
