RULESANDREGULATIONS

1. GENERALRULES
1.1 ThecompetitionshallbeheldinaccordancewiththecurrentrulesoftheInternational
AmateurBasketballFederation(FIBA)
1.2 Otherunforeseenoccurrence,whichisnotcoveredbyFIBArules,shallbedealtwithin
accordancewiththedecisionoftheorganizers.
2. TEAMCOMPOSITION
2.1 EachTeammaycomposeof14playersbutonly12playersareallowedtoplayduringa
match.
Lineupmaybechangeandfinalizeuntilthe2ndgameforeachteamonly.

3. UNIFORMS
3.1 Teamsmusthaveuniformsduringmatches.
3.1.1 JerseyorTshirtswithnumbersandsamecolor.
3.1.2 Onlybasketballshortsareallowed.(Nomaongshorts,puruntong,Beachshortsand
sixpockets)
3.1.2.1 ShortsmaydifferindesignbutjerseysandTshirtsmustbeUniform.

4. TOURNAMENTFORMAT
4.1 *If57teamsparticipated,asingleroundrobinsystemwillbeappliedwhereinthetop4
teamswilladvancetothesemifinalround.
SEMINIFINALS:#1vs.#4(#1twicetobeat)
#2vs.#3(#2twicetobeat)
FINALS:winnerswillvieforthechampionship.
Loserswillfightfor3rdplace.

*If8teamsormore,two(2)bracketswillbeformed(bracketA&bracketB).
*Asingleroundrobinsystemwillbeappliedforeachbracket.
*Top2teamsforeachbracketwilladvancetosemifinals.(backtozero)

5.BREAKINGOFTIES
5.1Iftwo(2)ormoreteamhaveequalnumberofwins,theteamwithahigherquotient
Rankshigher.
QuotientSysteminvolvesallthegamesplayedbetweenthetiedteamsonly.
5.1.1 Teamsthatdefaultedtheirgamesmaynotbeincludedinthequotient
system.

6. DEFAULT
20minutesdefaultingtimewillbeallottedforeachteam.Failuretoappearon
theplayingareaafterthedurationwillbedeclareddefaultandforfeitstheirmatchwith
resultof020.

7. NOSMOKINGONTHEBENCH

ViolationoftherulewillbedealtwithaTEAMTECHNICALwith2freepenaltyshots.

8. NOPLAYINGUNDERTHEINFLUENCEOFLIQUOR
ViolationoftherolewillbedealtwithEJECTION(Thrownout)and4penaltyshots.

9. REGISTRATION
AregistrationofPhp2,000.00mustbepaidbeforetheTournamentstarts.
