1. At the start of the tournament, teams are placed on the Pyramid either at random or based previous performance indicators.
2. Using rules and regulations developed by the teacher or agreed upon by the sport council, teams challenge other teams that
are
one or two layers above them in the pyramid (i.e., standings).
3. In the shown example, if the Padres beat the Jetta's, they exchange places in the standings.
4. Duty Team rotation should be assigned at random prior to seeding teams for Opening Day matches.
5. Teams serve as Duty Team on a set rotating basis. On days that a team serves in that role, it cannot be challenged, and, thus,
does not move up or down in the rankings. Teams ranked immediately below the scheduled Duty Team for a given day, can
only challenge other teams that are ranked at or above the Duty Team on that day. IF the Duty Team is in first place, they still
cannot be challenged on that day.
