COURSE CURRICULUM GOALS:


The French High School (HS) course design is child centered pedagogy. Students will have the opportunity to
immerse in the targeted language through five basic skills as per the below and students will communicate
with classmates in authentic settings across the francophone world. The attached Scope and Sequence will
be followed along with several other complemented researched based resources during the course of the
academic school year.

TARDY POLICY
It is important that students and parents are aware of the TARDY POLICY to DR. JOHNSONS class. Students
are expected to arrive on time to school and to all classes every day. Late arrivals disrupt the teaching and
learning environment. Students who are in violation of the tardy procedures without an official hall pass will
be subject to consequences, which will be consistently and equitably enforced.
