THE PARTY
Just like the show, the KING KONG after-party will see the 1930s meet 2013.
Sponsored by VECCI and designed by Christian Wagstaffs Creative Production
Services (the creative minds behind the Eureka / Kong stunt), the party will see the
Melbourne Town Hall interior draped in 22,000 metres of glittering silver mylar. New
York Artists Confetti System have created a hand made 10x6m mylar chandelier in
the shape of the Manhattan City Skyline, and the room will feature custom made
Donald Desky-inspired furniture.
There will be a 20 piece Big Band musically directed by Melbourne creative Tamil
Rogeon (The Raah Project). DJ Ransom will mix up electro swing, jazz, boogie and
funk.
