10. Risk Analysis

A] Risk Factors:

Uncertainty of weather conditions: As the weather condition of

Bangladesh is so uncertain, it adds risk to the production process. Because rain
is very harmful for the brick manufacturing as it creates spot to the raw bricks.
Besides that due to this uncertain weather, sometimes it takes unnecessarily
long time to produce bricks.

Aggressive price reduction by competitors: Although there is a high

demand of bricks in Bangladesh, but the market is very competitive too. To
meet this high competition the market price of the bricks changes very rapidly.
It may cause financial loose of the company all of a sudden.

The key risks and uncertainties associated with carbon trading markets
are:
The extent to which the Kyoto Protocol guidelines are implemented and
followed
The attitude of US which is the biggest polluter and had refused to sign the
treaty
The final rules and decisions relating to an emissions trading market

B] Contingency/ Exit Plan:

It is quite hard to leave the market easily after entering over here. Because a brick
manufacturing plant requires a very large amount of initial investment. So it is not so easy to
exit from the market so easily in a short time.
