A material split into its components using movement type 319 can be rejoined usi
ng movement type 317. Movement type 317 has the same effect as a cancellation of
movement type 319.

You can enter the splitting of a structured material manually using movement typ
e 319.
You can configure Customizing so that a structured material (for example, aset,
prepack, or display is automatically split into its components at goods receipt.
The system posts the split using movement type 319. In this process, the BOM he
ader material is posted and each of the component stocks are increased. You can
also use this function if you use the Warehouse Management System (LE-WM).
