    Settlers came to Kansas a long time ago.


    Some built log cabins.
    Many trees grow in eastern Kansas.
    Rain and rivers help trees to grow.
    Settlers cut the trees into logs.
    They stacked the logs to make a house.
    Most log cabins were only one room.
