How to set up the Wireless on ZTE ZXV10 W300 Modem

1. Open a browser e.g. Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, Chrome


2. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and hit Enter > type admin for username and
password for password > OK

3. Interface Setup > Wireless and enter the following parameters


3.1 Select Activated for Access Point > > if Deactivated is selected the wireless will
be deactivated
3.2 Select UNITED STATES for Channel
3.3 Select 802.11 b+g+n for Wireless Mode
3.4 SSID > name the Wireless
3.5 For Broadcast SSID click Yes to show the network name and No to hide the
network name
3.6 Select No for Use WPS
3.7 Authentication Type > Select your Security parameters beginning at WEP-64Bits
- WEP-64Bits, WEP-128Bits > as shown in Fig. 2
- WPAPSK , WPA2PSK , WPAPSKWPA2PSK > as shown in Fig. 3
3.8 Select TKIPAES for Encryption (only for WPAPSK, WPA2PSK,
WPAPSKWPA2PSK)
3.8 Click SAVE

Mode of setup
- WEP-64Bits > type 5-character code (from 0 9, a, b, c, d, e, f)
- WEP-128Bits > type 13- character code (from 0 9, a, b, c, d, e, f)

WPS mode setup

Click Interface Setup > Wireless > go to SSID Settings > select Yes at WPS to
activate WPS (the default is No) > there are 2 modes to choose at WPS Settings

PIN Code (as shown in Fig. 4)

PBC (as shown in Fig. 5)

PIN Code > Start WPS (if Start WPS is clicked the pop up as shown in fig.6 appears)
AP Self PIN Code must be entered to use the SSID

PBC > click Start WPS (if Start WPS is clicked the pop up as shown in fig.6 appears)
the device connected to the SSID starts working

A message to connect the WPS pops up (must be connected within 2 minutes) then
click OK

Start WPS button changes to Stop WPS when click

The device to be connected to WPS must support WPS
