Class Survey
The first sheet is a quick survey that your students can do in the classroom. They can
take some time to walk around the room asking each other the survey question. They then
record their peers answers on their sheet and answer the question at the bottom.
The next pages are the titles for a class survey. I use a bulletin board for this. The
letters are white on purpose. I let my students color them to make the graph our own.
There is a picture for each answer to the survey. These are used to make a pictograph.
First, I ask my students the survey question and I make a tally on the board. I then
distribute the pictures and we put them on the bulletin board to complete the graph.
It looks like this:
** I have included both color pictures and black & white ones for a more printer-friendly
survey. I usually print the black & white pictures and ask my students to color them. This
way, I save on ink and they can feel proud of our class survey since they took part in the
design!

book. Students can draw a picture
to go with each rule. They should
cut all the pages and then staple
them behind the bus craft to make
the book.
