Check the oll level with the filler cap dipstick aft 2-3 minutes. Do not screw in the cap when ‘making this check. If the level is below the ower fevel mark on the dipstick, fill to the Upper level mark with the recommended oil ENGINE OIL & OIL FILTER CHANGE NOTE a Engine oil change ie performed with the| engine at normal operating temperature! and vehicle on its center stand ‘0 ensure! [ complete and rapid draining Remove the oll filer cap Renove the drain plug to drain oil from the engine. NOTE Crank the engine for 23 seconds ta drain any residual ol Screw out the oil filter bolt and remove the oll filter element from the oil filter case. Check operation of the bypass valve in the oil filter bolt. Install @ new oil filter element and retighten the oil fiter bolt NOTE * Make sure that the ovings on the fier bolt and the oil filter cover are not damaged and are in good condition + Torque the ol filter bolt. | TORQUE: 2.0-2.5 kgm (14-18 f-¥) Reinstal the drain plug Making sure the sealing washer is in good ‘condition.
