Job Responsibilities

Attending mail queries and service request.


Logging, updating and resolving tickets.
Technical Documentation for new Installation, RCA, presentationetc
Prepare & submit periodic Reports
Effective correspondence skills (verbal and written)
Strategic and tactical planning of current and new Business need.
Analysis and troubleshooting for all Infrastructure services.
Coordination, follow-up and completing the task assigned with help of Vendors, Material
Team and Other peers.
Providing Technical support for server OS/ application.
Core Competencies required.
Operating System: Windows 2008 & 2012 Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x & 6.x
Application and services: Windows -Active directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WINS. Linux
-Squid, VSFTP, Bind, Win bind & Samba.
Hardware: HP, Dell, IBM and Sun Servers, SAN/NAS troubleshooting and diagnosis
Communication: English language for Writing and speaking skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
BE or Equivalent.
Diploma or Graduate in any stream
Good written and oral communication skills
Mandatory skills
Installation, configuration and performance testing of core technologies mentioned above.
Scripting knowledge, System Administration experience.
Designing Processes/Workflow, Documentation & Communication.
Managing Access Controlled List, Log Analysis.
Backup & maintenance, Troubleshooting & Debugging.

Preferred additional Skills


Use of open-source tools and technologies,
Experience on Linux or FreeBSD.
Network and application monitoring tools.
Knowledge of scalability issues involving huge server farms.
Managing Performance & high-availability issues.
Development/programming of new utilities and tools.

Knowledge of database administration
