structuresthatutilizecarbonorlowalloysteelsthatare1/8in
[3mm]orthickerwithaminimumspecifiedyieldstrengthof
100ksi [690MPa]orless.

However,theEngineershouldevaluatesuchsuitability,and
baseduponsuchevaluations,incorporateintocontract
documentsanynecessarychangestocoderequirementsto
addressthespecificrequirementsoftheapplicationthatis
outsidethescopeofthecode.
