Oh, Boy!

Welcome to Kindergarten

August 25, 2015

Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year at Saint Philip Neri. My
name is Miss Padilla. I will be your childs Kindergarten
Teacher. As your childs teacher I encourage you to ask
questions, participate, volunteer, and play an active role in
your childs education. Remember you are your childs primary
educator.
This year our school will continue to teach through the
School Wide Learning Expectations. I highly recommend that
you become familiar with them. You can find a list of them
behind this letter. We are also in a WASC year, which means
our school will be accredited in February 2016.
This school year will begin a new online assessment
program. Students will be tested four times a year. Kinder first
online testing day will be on Monday, August 31.
Please mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 9,
2015; we will be having our first parent level meeting starting
at 4:45am in Kindergarten. I look forward to meeting each and
every one of you.
I am excited about working with your child and your
family this school year. Together we can make your childs
school year a successful and memorable learning experience.
God Bless,
Miss Padilla
