January Schoolwide Prayer: The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in
Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and
was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the
dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father
Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I
believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
Amen.

will be passed out that day Please let the person picking up your
child know in advance that they will be taking home chocolates that

Students should all be writing their first and last names without
tracing.
As we end the 2nd quarter this month students should be working
more independent.
Congrats to Andrew Juarez who has begun the AR program at our
school He is able to read independently and answer online
questions about books. AR is a online program that provides
reading levels for students. As we end the 2nd quarter this month I
will continue to test students to see who is ready for this program. I
will talk to families individually for those who are placed on the
program. Students who are able to complete online placing
assessment will be given an additional reading book each week to
read at home and will be tested on Thursday. In kindergarten AR is
used as additional resource for students who are excelling in
reading. If you have questions about this please see me.
