I Am William Bradford
I am at your mercy, O Lord, for I am in trouble. (Psalm 52:8)
I wonder what strange new world these waves will take me to.
I hear the thunderous pounding of the waves against the ship.
I see a newfound hope along the horizon.
I want to flee from the tyranny of the Church.
I am at your mercy, O Lord, for I am in trouble.

I pretend that the Church of England will change.

I feel Gods presence inside me.
I touch his hand, and he maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still waters. (Psalm 23:2-3)
I worry for the safety of my companions along this arduous passage.
I cry to you for help, Lord; in the morning my prayer comes before you.
(Psalm 88:13)
I am at your mercy, O Lord, for I am in trouble.

I understand that our life ahead in this brave new world wont be easy.
I say to my company, do not falter, for this is the will of God.
I dream of a better life, free from religious persecution.
I try to live according to the desires of our God.
I hope I will be able to lead these people, and I ask for your salvation.
I am at your mercy, O Lord, for I am in trouble.
