1.0.1 HISTORY
We believe that every service tells a story. A chapter of Grand Mahal Hotel is about a
simple boutique style hotel that implement the concept of Eco Friendly
environment. In this globalisation of new era, it has come to a time where changes
should be made to the people around us. Great ideas, inovation and environmental
friendly act are the base of what our product that is about to be made. The Grand
Mahal Hotel was founded since 2008 at Nusajaya, Johor with a small capital provided
only 35 rooms to stay. At the beginning, this hotel was built in a small town
surrounded by construction building. However, as the economy develops, the small
town develops to a city, our service simultaneously develop and become a four star
luxury hotel. We provides true personal attention, thoughtful amenities, beautifully
appointed accommodations and culinary experiences, while each telling their own
story.
Most people think of lower midtown as a district of lofts and offices, without much
character. But hidden between the bland commercial buildings are a sprinkling of
little gems, recalling the days when this section was at the peak of elegance and
sophistication and of these the most illustrious is surely the Grand Mahal now
approaching its centennial. Opened on March 1, 2008, it is the biggest and most
exuberant of those structures, both audacious and sophisticated, designed by a prizewinning but idiosyncratic architect for a mysterious developer.
Nusajaya, a key component of Iskandar Malaysia with 24,000 acres of contiguous
development-ready land, is one of the largest property development in South East
Asia.
Key players in Nusajaya are property developers including UEM Land, Iskandar
Investment Berhad and Mulpha International Bhd, SP Setia, to name a few. In August
2007, the Middle Eastern Consortium (Mubadala, Kuwait Finance House and
Millennium Development) and Iskandar Investment Berhad had signed a MOU to
develop a RM4.2 billion (US$1.2 billion) integrated international city development,
referred to as Medini (formerly known as Node 1).
