Brief Overview of Creative Writing

Idea to think about:

All writing qualifies as creative,
whether it occurs in a private diary or a public forum.
All that differs between private and public
is the combination of ingredients.

When you put pen to paper or finger to keyboard, you are

creating a new taste particular to only you. Sometimes you are
your only taste tester, other times the world.
This semester your creative writing peers will fill the role of taste
testers, diners at your creative table. Together, all of you will
immerse yourselves in the tasty world of words, incorporating
ingredients particular only to you. Then from your unique recipe
will flow delightful creations that we all will savor.
