Objectives

To assess students understanding of the story by engaging lots of


physical activities to stimulate pupils awareness about the story. By the
end of the activity, pupils should be able to sequence the story into
correct order and fill in the speech bubbles with their own short

Previous knowledge

In the previous stages of the lesson, the pupils have read the whole
story with the teacher.

Materials

1. Five envelopes with five different colours of a bees picture on the


envelopes.
2. Five wall sheet papers(one for each group)
3. Five sets of pictures from the story with speech bubbles (enclosed in
each envelope)
4. Permanent markers
5. Glue
6. Scissors
7. Coloured pencils or crayons

Production Stage

Procedures:

Pupils are divided into 5 groups of 6 pupils for each group. Each group is assigned with

one different colour.


Each group has to search for an envelope hidden in the classroom of their own colour. In

each envelope, they will have the pieces of pictures of the story.
Once they found the envelope, the pupils have to sit in their groups

Each group will be provided with a wall sheet paper. Teacher then give instructions on how

to carry out the activities.


Pupils sequence the story into the correct order and have to fill in the speech bubble with
their own words or teacher can write the clues on the board for guidance in order for the

pupils to get ideas of filling in the speech bubbles.


Pupils then stick the pictures onto the wall sheet paper and decorate their work using their

own creativity (to colour and make sequencing graphics of the story).
Once all the groups have finished, each group present their group work in front of the
class with each members to present (i.e. to read the speech bubbles in turns). Each group
will be rewarded marks regarding on their presentation and creativity.
